One week Birthday

William and Alexis have been making great progress in the past two days! Today is already their one week birthday!!

William has been able to stay off of his oxygen and is eating well. Alexis needed to start oxygen yesterday as she was having trouble after she ate. This was not unexpected and we hope to have it off soon. They just had their cribs opened up today to see if they could regulate their temperature. We brought in fleece pajamas wrapped them in fleece blankets to see if that would help.

At this point they just need to continue eating, breathing, and growing. Still no word on their discharge but we continue to show great progress.

  1. Thank you for taking the time to photo and update the "blog". There are alot of us who check it daily. I see noticeable, steady progress and think all that machinery is pretty outstanding and appreciative of what it does. Mom and Dad look happy and proud as well.
Happy 1 week birthday to all.
    Love,
    Grandpa Bill
