Ricki's discharge

We have reached one milestone in our journey. Today Ricki was discharged from the hospital. It is nice to be home but hard to leave since William and Alexis are still in the NICU. Grandpa Tom came to visit last night and this afternoon and enjoyed his time with both babies. We also had a nice welcome home from our other family member, Holter, as John and Liz were nice enough to watch her while we were away and drop her off this afternoon.

We got to see Steve, Julia, and Stanley through face time today. Stanley had a very curious look on his face when he saw the babies on the screen.

As for the babies, they continue to make progress. William does not have an IV anymore and they are hoping he can eat enough to not need one. He was able to come down on the air flow in his nasal cannula this afternoon and if he continues to do well they will come down again in the morning. Both of them get a trial off of their bilirubin lights tonight at midnight! It's possible they will need them again but we have our fingers crossed. Also, they get to share a room starting tomorrow morning so that will be a nice change of pace.

Now some pictures.
